Call (702) 781-4848Nevada is an at-fault state. The driver who caused the crash, and their insurance company, are responsible for the harm they caused. That usually means your claim starts with the at-fault driver's liability insurance, and can also involve your own policy.
Nevada requires every driver to carry at least $25,000 per person and $50,000 per crash for injuries, plus $20,000 for property damage. Those minimums are low compared to the cost of a hospital stay, surgery or months of missed work. More Money Morales looks for every policy that may apply: the other driver's, a vehicle owner's, an employer's, and your own uninsured/underinsured motorist and medical payments coverage.
Nevada uses modified comparative negligence (NRS 41.141). You can still recover money if you were partly at fault, as long as you weren't more at fault than the other side. Your recovery is reduced by your share of fault. Insurance adjusters know this rule well, which is why they look for ways to put blame on you.
Fault is proven with evidence: the police report, photos, vehicle damage, witness statements, traffic and business camera video, and sometimes vehicle data. More Money Morales used to work on the insurance side, so he knows what adjusters look for and how they try to discount a claim.
More Money Morales represents people hurt on I-15, US-95, the I-215 Beltway, the Spaghetti Bowl, Las Vegas Boulevard and every neighborhood street in between, from Summerlin and Spring Valley to Henderson and North Las Vegas. Nevada generally gives you two years from the date of the injury to file a personal injury lawsuit (NRS 11.190). Property damage claims generally have three years. Some claims, like those against government agencies, have extra rules, so it's best not to wait.
It's best not to give a recorded statement or sign anything before you talk to a lawyer. Adjusters are trained to ask questions that can be used to reduce your claim. More Money Morales can handle those calls for you.
You may still have a claim. Under Nevada's comparative negligence rule, your recovery is reduced by your share of fault, and you can still recover as long as you weren't more at fault than the other side.
Your own uninsured/underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) coverage may pay. More Money Morales reviews your policy and every other possible source of coverage.
Nothing upfront. There's no attorney's fee and no case costs unless we recover money for you.
Your consultation is free. Tell us what happened and More Money Morales will get back to you.
